Privacy Policy
Last updated July 30, 2026
Be Grateful is built to be private by design. This policy explains what that means in plain terms.
Data storage
Every moment you write down is stored locally on your device. Be Grateful has no accounts, no sign-in, and no cloud sync. We don't operate any servers that your moments pass through, and we can't see, access, or recover the contents of your jar.
Data collection
We don't collect, transmit, or sell any personal data or usage information. Nothing you write in the app leaves your device.
Purchases
Be Grateful offers a one-time, non-consumable purchase to unlock the app beyond the free limit. Purchases are handled entirely by the app store you downloaded Be Grateful from — Apple's App Store today, and Google Play once the Android version launches. We never see or store your payment details; that store's own privacy policy covers that information.
Children's privacy
Because Be Grateful doesn't collect any data from anyone, this applies equally to children and adults alike.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and revise the date at the top.
